INTERNATIONAL SOCIETY FOR THE PHILOSOPHY OF ARCHITECTURE AT A GLANCE
About ISPA
The International Society for the Philosophy of Architecture was founded in 2009 by Carolyn Fahey at Newcastle University, UK, to provide a forum for scholars and practitioners to investigate topics in architecture that would benefit from rigorous philosophical treatment and topics in philosophy that would benefit from an in-depth understanding of architecture. Since then, the society has held biennial conferences at Newcastle University, Technical University of Delft, Bamberg University and The U. S. Air Force Academy. The 2020 conference co-hosted by ETH Zurich and EPFL Lausanne at Monte Verità, Switzerland is postponed until July 2-5, 2021.
